- JONATHAN MIDDLETON is an artist and curator working between Toronto and Vancouver. His practice engages language, comedy, and institutional operations, among other subjects. His work has been exhibited and screened in Vancouver at the VIVO Media Arts, Plaza Projects, Contemporary Art Gallery, Western Front, Or Gallery, and Tracey Lawrence Gallery, and in film festivals across North America, including the Vancouver International Film Festival, Inside Out, and Chicago International Film Festival. Middleton has taught at the undergraduate and graduate level at Emily Carr University of Art & Design for over 20 years, and has worked extensively as a curator, publisher, and arts administrator since 1999. Middleton currently co-manages the Vancouver Art Book Fair and serves as coordinator for the Artist-Run Centres and Collectives of Ontario.
